The Postojna Cave
Slovenia
Entering the Postojna Cave is exciting, a miniature train ride
which passes various cave formations that emerge and
disappear into darkness.  Exploration then continues on foot.
Advantage to my video of this wild journey.
Here are a variety of  large and bright cave displays, starting
with this layered presentation.
It is often hard to tell which formations originate from the
ceiling and those others growing upwards from the cave floor.
They appear to meet in the above picture.
A giant cave monolith, the largest and brightest I remember.
Growing upwards in the darkness, this one presented a kind
of creepy image.  The video includes many other cave images.
Exit is also by train.  Postojna is one of Slovenia's most
popular attractions, with tours provided in several languages.
