Porto benefits from having a student of Gustave
Eiffel design this famous bridge, the Ponte de Dom
Luis 1, spanning the Douro River.
I climbed the 18th century Torre dos
Clerigos for the best views of Porto.
Azulejos are Portugal's art of painted blue
tiles.  They can be seen in many places.  At
Porto's train station I had my best chance
to photograph azulejos.

Of course we also tasted the Port of Porto, one
named for the other.  I drank in moderation.
