Iceland and its volcanoes have a long-running relationship. I
liked this volcanic profile because it was over a lake.
Here is a volcano that presents itself over land.
Climbing a volcano to its rim was easy. Here you can see the
volcanic crater and a cinder cone.
Cinder cones are smaller volcanoes, often within the crater
of a host, and capable of eruptions on their own.
