Nobel Prize Locations
Alfred Nobel, Swedish chemist who invented dynamite,
created the prizes which bear his name.  Stockholm's City
Hall hosts major Nobel Prize events.  The building's design
often reflects Moorish architecture.
The annual Nobel Prize banquet is held to honor the winners
in this gigantic hall, which also looks quite Moorish to me.
Under Nobel's directions, the Peace Prize is awarded
separately in Oslo, Norway.
After the banquet it's up the stairs to the Nobel Prize
ballroom, where the rest of the night can be danced away.
