Impala, Orix, and Giraffe
Baby Impala, cute, but very vulnerable to predators.
Adult female Impalas.  Speed is their only defense.
The male Impala's horns can be a weapon
of self-defense; but he would prefer to
outrun lions, leopards, and cheetah.
I only saw the Orix at Samburu in Kenya.
The Orix looks extremely powerful with
the longest horns I can remember.  A
herd of Orix was most impressive.
The Giraffe is well-built for high level
dining.  This species is the Reticulated
Giraffe, also from Samburu in Kenya.
