The Icefields Parkway
Banff and Jasper National Parks, Canada
The Icefields Parkway connects Lake Louise with Jasper,
Canada's nominee for the world's most scenic road, with
glaciers, lakes and waterfalls everywhere you turn.  Here
is the Crowfoot Glacier.
These are hanging or alpine glaciers, clinging to
mountains without touching any body of water.
Nearby is Peyto Lake, in a beautiful setting.  It can
appear green or blue, depending upon how the sun shines
and individual preferences.
I could not keep track of names for many of the glaciers
lining the Icefields Parkway.
Here is my best wide shot displaying the massive size of an
Icefields Parkway glacier.
