Bergen's World Heritage Site
           Wharf Buildings
Norway
Here is a very wide view, across the harbor, of Bergen's 300
year old wharf buildings, a most colorful World Heritage Site.
Many different shades are represented in Bergen.  The
buildings have long ago been converted into tourist shops.
Variations upon yellow and red seem to predominate.
There is a tilt, suggesting that restoration work behind the
main frontage row will need to be expanded quite soon.
