Arches, Windows, and Gardens
The Alhambra's Moorish arches have a real beauty.
I kept looking for the right combination of
light and angles that would do them justice.
Exquisite detail and design were also used for the windows.
This Alhambra window provided the best contrast
between light and darkness. A favorite image.
The Alhambra gardens compete with the interior,
yet another array of spectacular Moorish designs.
Credit must be given to the Duke of Wellington,
Washington Irving, and Spain for helping restore
the Alhambra to much of its former glory.
